Torino targets new goalkeeper with Lucas Perri, Aaron Ramsdale and Orlando Gill

Torino is actively searching for a new first‑choice goalkeeper after the disappointing spell of Franco Israel, who cost the club almost €5 million last summer. The club’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has placed the Brazilian Lucas Perri of Leeds United and the English Aaron Ramsdale of Southampton at the top of the shortlist. Perri, a 1997‑born international, is valued at about €10 million and is under contract until June 2029, while Ramsdale, born in 1998, is estimated at €12 million with a deal running to 2028.

San Lorenzo’s Paraguayan keeper Orlando Gill, who impressed at the World Cup, is also being considered; his release clause is reported at €6 million. Gill himself said, “Future at Torino? Why not, it’s a great club in Italy.” The club is also monitoring other options such as Croatia’s Dominik Livaković and Italy’s Wladimiro Falcone, but the primary focus remains on the three main candidates.

Torino hopes to resolve the goalkeeper position before the start of the new season, aiming to replace Israel and reinforce the squad ahead of domestic competition.
