Torino Football Club strengthens youth squads with multiple signings

Torino FC confirmed the acquisition of three promising youth outfield players. Defender Mattia Zaghini (born 2008) signed a contract until 30 June 2029, while attackers Gianfilippo Materazzi (born 2009) and Manuel Scacchi (born 2007) secured deals lasting until 30 June 2029 and 30 June 2028 respectively. All three are described as technically skilled and speedy prospects for the club’s academy.

In addition, Torino completed the purchase of goalkeeper Diego Mascardi from Spezia. The Italian keeper, born in 2006, had 18 appearances in Serie B and the Coppa Italia last season and is viewed as a future‑oriented investment. President Urbane Cairo highlighted the focus on young talent and noted that the squad already includes senior goalkeepers Alberto Paleari and Lapo Siviero, with further targets such as Orlando Gill being monitored.
