Torino Fossata bus terminal project unveiled

A new bus terminal project, Torino Fossata, has been presented to the Urban Planning Commission. Located on the former Kerry industrial site, the terminal is designed to serve medium and long-distance bus lines, including Flixbus and Marino.

The project, expected to be completed by mid-2027, will feature 36 bus bays—18 covered and 18 uncovered—along with services for passengers and drivers. The development, funded by private investors with a total investment exceeding 26 million euros, will also include a 130-room hotel and a 150-space parking lot with photovoltaic coverage.

Strategically positioned near the Rebaudengo-Fossata railway station and the future metro line 2, the terminal aims to strengthen northern connections and relocate services currently concentrated in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. The project is framed as an urban regeneration effort that utilizes a disused industrial area without consuming new land.
