Torino rejects AS Roma offers for Alessio Cacciamani

Torino FC has successfully retained young talent Alessio Cacciamani despite significant interest from AS Roma during the summer transfer window. Torino's sporting director, Gianluca Petrachi, confirmed that while Roma made concrete offers, the club decided not to sell unless they received a substantial fee.

Reports indicate that Roma's highest proposal reached approximately 12 million euros plus bonuses, falling short of the 20 million euro valuation set by Torino owner Urbano Cairo. Following the failed negotiations, Cacciamani has since signed a contract extension with Torino through 2031.

Under coach Ignazio Abate, the 19-year-old has transitioned from an offensive winger to a full-sided wing-back. Cacciamani is expected to feature in the upcoming match against Roma, a fixture that serves as a symbolic conclusion to the summer transfer saga.
