Torino signs Italian forward Gaetano Oristanio

Serie A club Torino has completed the signing of 21‑year‑old Italian attacking midfielder Gaetano Oristanio as the team begins its pre‑season under new coach Ignazio Abate. The move adds a versatile left‑footed playmaker to a Torino side seeking to improve on a difficult previous campaign.

Orisanio, a product of Inter’s youth system, spent recent seasons on loan in the Netherlands with Volendam, then in Italy with Cagliari, Venezia and Parma. He accumulated 62 appearances and eight goals in Dutch football, helped Cagliari in Serie A, and later featured for Venezia before returning to Parma on loan. Torino’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi confirmed the transfer as the first reinforcement for Abate’s inaugural season.
