Torino President Urbano Cairo details summer transfers and player commitments

President Urbano Cairo told Sky Sport that forward Giovanni Simeone will remain at Torino after a personal appeal, and praised new coach Ignazio Abate for his ideas and enthusiasm.

Cairo confirmed the club will make some departures for budget reasons. Defender Ciro Cacciamani is a priority to retain, though a deal is not guaranteed, and Niccolò Fortini has been mentioned as a possible replacement.
