TORKU Banada increases market share and launches new biscuit product

TORKU Banada has reported a significant increase in its market share within the glass jar cream chocolate category. Last year, one in every four products sold in this category was a Banada brand, whereas this year, the brand accounts for one in every three products sold.

To expand its reach, TORKU has introduced Banada Bisküvi, a new product developed through the Konya Şeker R&D Center. The product consists of real Banada cream sandwiched between two crunchy biscuits. According to Mehmet Kölhan, Snack Business Unit Coordinator, the product contains 5% hazelnut in the biscuit and 13.5% hazelnut in the cream.

Kölhan emphasized that the company avoids using glucose syrup and artificial sweeteners, instead utilizing natural sugar produced from sugar beets in their own factories. Additionally, the milk powder and flour used in the production are sourced from the company’s own facilities.
