Tornado Bello appointed Bude Town joint manager

Bude Town has appointed former striker Tornado Bello as joint manager for the remainder of the South West Peninsula League Premier West season. Bello will work alongside existing manager Steve Hackett.

Bello, a Plymouth-based former player for the club, had previously intended to manage Wellington in the Western League Premier Division but withdrew from that role before the season began. Hackett expressed enthusiasm for the appointment, stating that Bello’s familiarity with the players and the club would provide a valuable boost to the team’s development.

The coaching change follows a difficult start to the season for the Seasiders, who recently suffered losses to Callington Town and Newton Abbot Spurs in league and FA Vase competitions.
