Toronto Blue Jays prospects compete in Arizona Fall League

Eight Toronto Blue Jays prospects are currently participating in the Arizona Fall League with the Mesa Solar Sox to refine mechanics, learn new positions, or recover from injuries.

On the offensive side, catcher Aaron Parker is gaining experience in left field, batting .368 with a .500 on-base percentage. Jake Cook has recorded eight stolen bases, ranking third in the tournament, while Jake Casey has struggled with a .094 batting average and a 40% strikeout rate despite recording six stolen bases.

The pitching group has seen mixed results. Jake Bloss, a top prospect, has performed strongly with a 2.70 ERA and 0.75 WHIP over 6.2 innings. The organization aims to use this time to help Bloss prepare for a potential role in the 2027 pitching staff. Other pitchers sent to Arizona, including Yondrei Rojas, Brandon Barriera, Gilberto Batista, and Fernando Perez, have struggled with control, combining for twenty walks and only fifteen strikeouts.
