Toronto FC returns to BMO Field for MLS resumption

Toronto FC is set to return to BMO Field this Saturday to host the New England Revolution as Major League Soccer resumes after a three-month hiatus. The stadium was previously vacated in May when FIFA took control of the venue for World Cup preparations, which included the addition of thousands of temporary seats and four new LED video boards.

The club faces a challenging season, currently sitting at a 3-7-8 record and six points below the playoff cutline. Toronto FC has not secured a victory since April 4. Defender Richie Laryea expressed optimism regarding the team's ability to shift momentum, noting that the mood within the squad changes quickly once wins begin to accumulate.
