Toronto Film Festival unveils lineup for inaugural Market Summit

The Toronto International Film Festival has finalized the lineup for its inaugural content market, TIFF: The Market, scheduled to run from September 10 to 16. The event features a conference program called the Summit, which will include over 70 sessions and events designed to address industry questions and global shifts.

Key speakers include actor and director Seth Rogen, director Danny Boyle, actor Colman Domingo, and Nigerian media mogul Mo Abudu. Rogen and Boyle are part of the Visionaries program, which focuses on creators and innovators in the global screen sector. Other programs include Dialogues, featuring filmmakers such as Hirokazu Kore-eda and Yeon Sang-ho, and Perspectives, which will host panels on global sales and equity in independent film.

Unlike previous years of informal dealmaking, this new market aims to serve as a comprehensive hub for buying and selling content across television, gaming, and immersive formats.
