Toronto film scene to feature local showcases and elite supper clubs
Toronto’s 2026 film festival season will feature new programming focused on both local independent works and high-profile industry networking.
Pleasure Dome will host ‘New Toronto Works 2026’ on November 2 at Innis Town Hall. The annual program showcases 13 works created within the last year by filmmakers from Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The event includes a screening of various short films followed by an in-person roundtable and Q&A session with the artists.
Additionally, Twenty35 Agency is debuting ‘CineDine,’ an invitation-only supper club held from September 14-17 at Le Germain Hôtel Toronto Mercer. Designed as an intimate alternative to traditional red-carpet parties, CineDine will host private dinners and cocktail receptions. The inaugural program expects to host various industry leaders and actors, including Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, and Gael García Bernal, to celebrate films through curated hospitality experiences.
