Toronto Humane Society seeks donations for pet care and veterinary services

The Toronto Humane Society is seeking support to provide essential services for animals, including veterinary care, shelter, and food assistance for families in need. During the Giving Tuesday period, donations will be matched up to $50,000 by the Estate of Richard T. Roe.

The organization highlighted the case of Rosebud, a seven-week-old kitten who arrived at the shelter weighing less than a kilogram. After receiving veterinary examinations, weight management, and spay surgery from the shelter’s medical team, the kitten was successfully prepared for adoption and has since found a permanent home.
