Toronto International Film Festival announces CineDine and Short Cuts details

The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will feature the debut of “CineDine,” an invitation-only supper club organized by Twenty35 Agency. Scheduled for September 14–17, 2026, at Le Germain Hôtel Toronto Mercer, the event aims to provide a sophisticated setting for industry leaders, filmmakers, and actors to gather through private dinners and cocktail receptions.

Expected attendees include high-profile figures such as Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, Sting, and Antonio Banderas. The program is supported by partners including Redbreast Irish Whiskey, Caviar & Bar Co., Chateau des Charmes, and Isola Serena.

In addition to new dining experiences, the festival’s Short Cuts programme will showcase 45 films from 30 countries. This includes the “REDEFINED” initiative, a collection of five documentary shorts commissioned by TIFF and the National Film Board of Canada, which will be made accessible on the NFB website following their premiere on September 16.
