Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Andy O'Brien Patrick O’Sullivan sports performance

The Toronto Maple Leafs have made two significant appointments to their staff under the leadership of general manager John Chayka.

Andy O’Brien has been named vice president of sports performance. O’Brien will oversee strength and conditioning, sports science, nutrition, injury rehabilitation, and mental performance. He previously served as the director of sports science and performance for the Pittsburgh Penguins and has worked with four Stanley Cup-winning teams during his tenure with the Panthers and Penguins.

Additionally, the Maple Leafs have promoted Patrick O’Sullivan to director of NHL development. O’Sullivan, a former NHL forward and Toronto native, has served as a development coach for the team for the past three seasons.
