Sergei Bobrovsky signs three‑year deal with Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed veteran goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to a three‑year contract worth $21 million ($7 million average annual value). The 37‑year‑old, a two‑time Vezina Trophy winner and two‑time Stanley Cup champion, joined the Leafs after his seven‑year deal with the Florida Panthers expired. Bobrovsky posted a career‑low .877 save‑percentage in 52 games for the Panthers, who missed the playoffs, and will reunite in Toronto with former teammate Anthony Stolarz.
