Toronto police investigate two separate sexual assault incidents

Toronto police are investigating two separate sexual assault incidents reported in August.

In the first incident, which occurred on August 1 near Steeles Avenue East and Warden Avenue, 31-year-old Anh Tuan Le was arrested. Police allege the suspect approached a victim from behind in an alleyway, pushed them to the ground, and committed the assault before fleeing toward Warden Avenue. Le faces charges of sexual assault and sexual harassment.

In a second incident reported on August 18 at Roundhouse Park in downtown Toronto, a six-year-old child was allegedly assaulted while playing. Police state that when the child’s parent confronted the suspect, the individual assaulted the child again before fleeing the scene. Authorities are searching for a man described as being between 55 and 60 years old, tall, with an average build, a bald crown, receding black and grey hair, and silver-framed glasses.
