Boston Celtics defeat Orlando Magic to extend winning streak to five

The Boston Celtics secured their fifth consecutive victory with a 108-97 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Jayson Tatum led the scoring with 32 points, including 15 points from the free-throw line, despite a brief mid-game departure to treat a head injury caused by an accidental collision with Orlando’s Jamal Cain.

Paul George contributed 17 points, while Neemias Queta provided critical defensive plays with two blocks in the closing minutes. The Celtics, now holding a 5-1 record, utilized a strong second-half performance to overcome an Orlando team led by Tristan da Silva and Anthony Black, who both scored 23 points.

The Magic, who have now lost three consecutive home games, struggled with shooting efficiency despite Franz Wagner recording a career-high 12 assists. Boston’s victory marks their first road win of the season and solidifies their position as a top contender in the Eastern Conference.
