Giannis Antetokounmpo debuts with Miami Heat in preseason win

Giannis Antetokounmpo made his preseason debut for the Miami Heat in a 129-105 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Quebec City. In 14 minutes of play, Antetokounmpo recorded nine points, four rebounds, and seven assists, shooting perfectly from the field.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra praised Antetokounmpo’s playmaking ability, comparing his vision and size to NBA legend Magic Johnson. Spoelstra noted that Antetokounmpo’s ability to draw defenders and deliver precise passes to shooters is a significant asset for the team’s new offensive structure.

Other notable performers for Miami included Tim Hardaway Jr., who led the team with 14 points, and Andrew Wiggins, who contributed 12 points. Bam Adebayo also added 10 points and six rebounds. The Raptors, playing without Kawhi Leonard, were led by RJ Barrett and Tyreke Key, who each scored 15 points.
