Toronto Tempo lose home finale to New York Liberty

The Toronto Tempo concluded the home portion of their debut WNBA season with a 106-69 loss to the New York Liberty at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The defeat marked the expansion team's sixth consecutive loss and the 18th loss in their final 19 games, bringing their season record to 11-31.

Despite the lopsided score, a sellout crowd of 8,210 fans attended the game. Rookie forward Laura Juskaite scored a career-high 28 points during the matchup. Juskaite expressed mixed emotions regarding the team's performance, noting that the style of play did not reflect how the team is built, while also acknowledging the consistent support from the fanbase.
