Toros de Tijuana have won the North Zone Championship of the Mexican Baseball League after defeating Sultanes de Monterrey. The victory, secured with a 10-1 win in Game 4 at Walmart Park, marks the fourth time in the organization's history that they have advanced to the Serie del Rey.

The Toros' offense was led by Hernán Pérez, who hit a grand slam in the first inning, and Gilberto Celestino, who drove in four runs. Pitcher Adonis Medina earned the win, pitching five innings, while the bullpen secured the final four scoreless innings.

Tijuana now awaits the winner of the South Zone Championship between Olmecas de Tabasco and Pericos de Puebla to determine their opponent for the Serie del Rey. Due to potential weather delays in the South, the exact start date and opponent may not be finalized until early September.
