Manager Roberto Kelly emphasized the team's discipline and talent, stating that the group is prepared to pursue the championship regardless of the opponent. Team captain Isaac Rodríguez highlighted the strength of the roster, particularly in pitching and defense, while noting the intense rivalry between the two clubs.

The pitching matchups for the start of the series have been announced. The first game will feature Adonis Medina for the Toros against Manny Bañuelos for the Sultanes. The second matchup will see Noah Skirrow face Daniel Mengden.
