Toroslar EDAŞ invests 736 million TL in Gaziantep energy infrastructure

Toroslar EDAŞ has invested approximately 736 million TL during the first half of 2026 to strengthen the energy infrastructure in Gaziantep, Turkey. The company is focusing on meeting the increasing energy demands of the industrial and tourism sectors in the region.

Key infrastructure activities include the maintenance and modernization of 11,368 transformers and 27,550 kilometers of energy lines. Recent works involved the maintenance of 4,647 lighting fixtures, 200 transformers, 292 panels, and 183 distribution centers. New investments include the installation of 58 transformers, 1,259 new lighting fixtures, and 272 kilometers of cabling.

In addition to industrial support, the company has prioritized historical and tourist sites, such as the Zeugma Mosaic Museum and the Historical Covered Bazaar, to ensure continuous energy supply. Toroslar EDAŞ is also expanding its digital services, including the integration of the ChatVolt digital assistant into voice communication channels to assist customers with outage inquiries and reporting.
