Torpoint Artists Collective secures National Lottery funding

The Torpoint Artists Collective CIC has been awarded £17,642 from The National Lottery Community Fund to launch ‘Our Town’, a 15-month creative programme in Torpoint.

The initiative aims to develop local creative skills and provide community support through free workshops focused on design, digital tools, communications, storytelling, and audience development. The programme is designed to address priorities identified in the town’s ‘Arts & Culture Strategy’, which was informed by over 600 resident responses.

Additionally, the programme will engage young people through projects like ‘Love Fore Street’, working with partners such as Action for Children/Kernow Connect to help youth document the town and develop digital skills.
