TORRAS launches FlashEye-Dot smart USB-C charger with real-time display

TORRAS has introduced the FlashEye-Dot, a 45W USB-C Power Delivery charger featuring a built-in interactive display. Unlike standard chargers, this device provides real-time visual feedback by displaying the wattage being delivered and using animated expressions to indicate charging progress.

The charger is designed for smartphones, tablets, and low-power laptops such as the MacBook Air. TORRAS offers a specific iPhone 18 Edition that features expanded device recognition and a revised interface. While the Classic version supports iPhone 15 through iPhone 17 models, the newer edition extends compatibility to the iPhone 18 family.

Technical limitations exist regarding the data displayed; certain information, such as battery percentage or specific model identification, depends on the communication capabilities of the connected device. For instance, older Lightning-based iPhones may not provide sufficient data for all display features. The hardware utilizes Gallium Nitride (GaN) components and includes thermal management and charging-control technologies.
