Torre Annunziata launches new archaeological and culinary tourism tour

A new experiential tourism project is being launched in Torre Annunziata to highlight the city's archaeological heritage and culinary traditions. Promoted by Gino Camera, owner of Tenuta Nunziata, the initiative aims to create a tour that connects the Villa of Poppea at Oplontis with local food production.

The itinerary will feature historical sites such as an olive oil mill dating back to 1943, alongside the city's long-standing traditions in pasta making, white flour arts, and pizza preparation. The project is scheduled to be presented on September 18 during a conference at Tenuta Nunziata focused on the future of the Oplontis archaeological site and regional tourism services.
