Torre Annunziata residents report sleep disruption from noisy manhole covers

Residents in Torre Annunziata are reporting significant sleep disturbances caused by loose manhole covers. The noise, described as a sharp and continuous sound occurring whenever vehicles or heavy machinery pass over them, is particularly problematic during the night.

One resident on Via Plinio reported that despite filing formal complaints with the Municipal Police and the local administration via PEC and institutional web forms, no maintenance has been performed to resolve the issue. Similar complaints regarding noisy manhole covers have also been received from residents living along the Lungomare di Oplonti.
