Torre de Don Miguel to host third La Sierrilla hiking route

The third edition of the La Sierrilla hiking route will take place on October 18 in the medieval village of Torre de Don Miguel. Organized by the local City Council in collaboration with the Sierra de Gata Municipal Sports Service, the event features a nearly 6-kilometer trek through dense forests of oak and chestnut trees.

The route offers views of the Almenara de Gata and Cadalso, starting from the Plaza Mayor and concluding in the Zepa area. Participation is limited to 150 people with a registration fee of 5 euros, which includes supplies, a route guide, and support vehicles. This activity is part of the “La Sierra Camina” hiking circuit aimed at promoting sports and conservation in the Sierra de Gata region.
