Torre del Greco acquires La Pineta area for new A3 motorway exit

The Municipality of Torre del Greco has officially purchased the “La Pineta” area, located along the A3 motorway, through a notarized deed. The acquisition includes both land and buildings within the real estate complex.

The strategic move aims to facilitate the creation of a new motorway junction in the Santa Maria la Bruna locality, with an exit corresponding to via Giovanni XXIII. This development is intended to assist travelers heading toward Salerno and serves critical civil protection purposes related to Vesuvius risk management.

The municipal administration, led by Mayor Luigi Mennella, has expressed its intention to make the property available to the Ministry and the Salerno-Pompei-Napoli motorway authority. This collaboration is designed to initiate the design phase for the new exit and to enhance the value of the existing real estate assets in the area.
