Torre del Greco and Erice implement new paid parking regulations

Municipalities in Italy are implementing new paid parking regulations. In Torre del Greco, the municipal police commander has issued an ordinance to reactivate paid parking in select central streets, including via Aldo Moro and corso Vittorio Emanuele. The service operates Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, with seasonal variations in hours. Rates are set at one euro per hour, with a minimum charge of 50 cents for 30 minutes. Specific exemptions are provided for general practitioners and judicial officers.

In Erice, a new public-private partnership titled ‘EOS-Erice Obiettivo Sicurezza’ is introducing a unified parking system. Visitors will face a flat rate of two euros per hour year-round, from 8:30 to midnight. This replaces previous seasonal pricing. Residents and local workers can access annual subscriptions for 90 euros. The new system features touch-screen parking meters supporting coins and cards, alongside the EasyPark application.
