Torre del Greco police headquarters closed due to safety risks

Firefighters conducted an inspection of the municipal police headquarters in Torre del Greco following a formal complaint by the Sulpl union to the Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata. The inspection aimed to address reports of severe structural degradation and poor hygienic-sanitary conditions within the facility, which was inaugurated in 2013.

The inspection resulted in immediate safety measures, including the closure of the service vehicle parking area due to the risk of falling debris and stones. Additionally, a large section of the third floor used as an officers' changing room was partially closed because the structural conditions did not meet safety standards.
