Torre del Greco to host 9th Premio Fratelli De Filippo

The ninth edition of the Premio Fratelli De Filippo “Macte Virtute Esto” will take place at the Lavela Beach Club in Torre del Greco. Organized by the Corpo Provinciale Guardie Ambientali Volontarie Napoli, the event focuses on the “Teatro e Cinema” section, aiming to bridge the gap between Italian entertainment traditions and civic values such as environmental protection and territorial safeguarding.

The ceremony will honor several prominent figures in Italian arts. Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Giacomo Rizzo will receive career achievement awards for their contributions to international and national cinema and theatre. Other honorees include Marzio Honorato and Patrizio Rispo. The event also intends to recognize emerging artists through awards for “Giovani Talenti” and “Giovani Eccellenze.”

Notable attendees include actress and producer Claudia Conte. The ceremony will be hosted by Erennio De Vita and Maria Consiglia Izzo, featuring contributions from the event's creator, Salvatore De Chiara, and various institutional representatives.
