Torre del Mar Air Show attracts 300,000 visitors

The 2026 edition of the International Air Festival in Torre del Mar attracted more than 300,000 visitors, according to Velez-Malaga Town Hall. The event featured over 33 aircraft and 18 display units, including military and civil aviation highlights such as the Eurofighter, A400M, and various helicopter teams.

The festival has become a significant economic driver for the Costa del Sol region, generating an estimated impact of over €5 million. Local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, and shops, benefit from the influx of tourists, helping to extend the peak tourism season into September.

Sunday's main aerial display included a variety of performances, ranging from the Patrulla PAPEA and Guardia Civil parachute displays to aerobatics by Aerosparx and Camilo Benito. The schedule concluded with performances by the Patrulla ASPA and Formación Mirlo.
