Torre Guaceto hosts Worldrise marine conservation training campus

The fourth edition of the Worldrise AMP Campus is being held from September 7 to 12 in the Torre Guaceto State Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area in Puglia, Italy. The program provides a week of free, immersive field training for eight students and recent graduates from across Italy.

The initiative aims to train the next generation of marine conservation professionals by providing practical tools in areas such as governance, environmental monitoring, sustainable tourism, and scientific communication. The program is a result of a collaboration between Worldrise and the Torre Guaceto Management Consortium, focusing on the conservation of marine-coastal environments and community awareness.
