Torrecuso youth forum receives 15,000 euro grant for local project

The Forum dei Giovani di Torrecuso has secured 15,000 euros in funding for its “Radici e Orizzonti” (Roots and Horizons) project. The grant was awarded through the “GIOVANI in COMUNE” initiative promoted by the Campania Region.

Spanning six months, the project aims to engage residents aged 16 to 34 through various activities, including theater, graphic and communication workshops, sports tournaments, and job orientation paths. The program also includes sessions on sustainability, rights, inclusion, and active citizenship to foster community participation and skill development.

Giovanni Goglia, president of the Forum, stated that the funding allows young people to transform ideas into concrete growth opportunities. Nicola Biondi, President of the Torrecuso City Council and Delegate for Youth Policies, praised the initiative, noting that the project empowers youth to become a driving force for the entire community. The project is supported by partners Nuova Pro Loco Torricolus APS and the Gramigna Association.
