Torreense and Portimonense confirm major player transfers

Brazilian midfielder Léo Azevedo, 22, is set to leave Portuguese side Torreense for Al Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The move is reported to involve a €3 million fee plus performance bonuses, representing a record sale for the club that won the Portuguese Cup.

Japanese midfielder Shoya Nakajima, 31, has completed medical examinations ahead of a return to Portimonense in the Algarve. His registration depends on FIFA lifting three transfer bans that still affect the club. Nakajima previously played for Portimonense, Al‑Duhail (Qatar), FC Porto and other teams before spending recent seasons with Urawa Reds in Japan.
