Torreense draws 2-2 against Sparta Prague in Europa Cup

Torreense's women's football team secured a 2-2 draw against Sparta Prague in the first leg of the Europa Cup round of 16. Despite the draw, Torreense coach Gonçalo Nunes expressed frustration over missed opportunities, describing the result as “inglorious” because the team could have secured a victory.

Nunes noted that the team showed great resilience by recovering from a deficit at halftime. He remains confident in the team's ability to advance to the quarterfinals, stating that the goal was to keep the tie open for the second leg at home. The coach called for strong support from fans at the Manuel Marques stadium to help the team close out the series.
