Torrejón launches Mercatorrejón online shopping platform

The City Council of Torrejón has launched Mercatorrejón, an online platform designed to support local small and medium-sized businesses by allowing residents to shop online and receive free home delivery.

Funded by European funds, the service offers delivery from Monday to Saturday during morning and afternoon windows. The transportation is managed by the City Council at no cost to either the merchants or the customers. Mayor Alejandro Navarro stated that the initiative aims to help local businesses reach new customers and adapt to modern online consumption trends through a high-quality, personalized service.
