Torremaggiore concludes seventh Suggestioni Sub Flore festival
The seventh edition of ‘Suggestioni Sub Flore’ has concluded in Torremaggiore, a festival dedicated to the historical figure Federico II of Swabia and the ancient medieval city of Fiorentino. The week-long event featured guided tours, medieval camps, cultural meetings, and gastronomic initiatives.
The festivities culminated in a weekend featuring the ‘Terraemaioris’ medieval village and the 41st edition of the Historical Parade of Fiorentino and Federico II. Participants in period costumes, musicians, flag throwers, and archers reenacted medieval atmospheres to celebrate the city’s historical ties to the ‘Stupor Mundi’.
A major highlight of the event was a scenic fire display at the castle, which provided a visual spectacle for attendees. The program also included a sold-out dawn concert by Silvia Mezzanotte at Castel Fiorentino, the site where Federico II died in 1250.
