Andalusia reports new business openings and cultural initiatives

Various cultural and economic developments are taking place across Andalusia. In Almuñécar, local authorities welcomed four new businesses—Hama Boutique, Milele, Petite Louise, and Esencia Spa Rituals—to support local entrepreneurship and economic growth.

In Torremolinos, the ‘Torremolinos y Gigantes’ cultural cycle returns, featuring renowned photographer Cristina García Rodero and musician Depedro at the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center. Meanwhile, Mijas is preparing to celebrate World Tourism Day with flamenco performances and a paella tasting to encourage year-round visitation.

In the tourism sector of Punta Umbría, the 22nd edition of the Tourism Promotion Awards will recognize Chiringuito Camarón, LIVE Punta Umbría, and Maldivas Island Park. Additionally, the local PSOE has proposed a public recognition for beach businesses and workers to honor their contribution to the municipality's identity.

Regarding heritage preservation, the Museo Picasso Málaga has invested over 600,000 euros to modernize its climate control systems at the Palacio de Buenavista, ensuring the stable temperature and humidity required for art conservation through energy-efficient technology.
