Torreón announces job fair while Rivera celebrates student graduations

The Fourth Job Fair 2026 has been announced for Torreón, Coahuila, scheduled for August 21. The event features over 1,200 formal job vacancies with monthly salaries ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 pesos. Participating companies include Caterpillar Torreón, Liverpool, SEDENA, and several others. The fair aims to support recent graduates and promote labor inclusion for vulnerable groups, including seniors, people with disabilities, refugees, and the LGBTTTQI+ community.

In Rivera, a graduation ceremony for the Egresé 2025 program saw 300 students from the UTU receive diplomas. The cohort included 200 high school graduates and 100 tertiary education graduates. The event highlighted the role of technical education in connecting students with the local productive sector and featured participation from Brazil’s Instituto Federal Sul-rio-grandense (IFSUL).
