Torreón Mayor coordinates with private sector and installs Cadastral Board
Torreón Mayor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís has initiated several administrative actions aimed at fostering economic growth and legal certainty in the municipality. He met with members of the Consejo Lagunero de la Iniciativa Privada (CLIP), led by President Rodolfo Silva Esparza, to coordinate agendas regarding mobility, urban planning, security, and the regulation of commercial establishments. The goal of this collaboration is to provide certainty for investors and ensure the city remains a growing municipality.
Additionally, Riquelme Solís formally swore in the new members of the Torreón Cadastral Board (Junta Catastral). This body is intended to improve technological efficiency, transparency, and urban planning by linking the municipality with the State Registry and Cadastral Institute. The board's mission includes promoting organized territorial updates and supporting the housing, commercial, and service sectors to drive job creation.
