Torrent and Andorra la Vella Summer Festivals Attract Large Crowds

The third edition of the "A la Lluna de Torrent" cultural program began in Torrent, Spain, with strong public turnout at its opening events in El Vedat and Colonia Blanca. Activities included the musical storytelling session "Un verano para contArte," a concert by Sunset Stéreo featuring 1980s pop and rock hits, and an outdoor screening of the Spanish comedy "Cuerpo escombro." Municipal departments of Culture, Youth, Women, Citizen Participation, Social Services and Festivals organized the program, and mayor Amparo Folgado highlighted the event’s role in bringing families together and revitalising city spaces throughout the summer.

In Andorra la Vella, the Festa Major celebrated its fifth day with more than 700 servings of the traditional rice dish "arrossada popular" and a total of 167 activities over five days. Consul Sergio González praised the family‑friendly atmosphere, noting the absence of security incidents thanks to close police coordination. New larger paellas were introduced to serve up to 1,000 diners, and the event offered both outdoor and climate‑controlled indoor venues to accommodate the crowds.
