Torrent implements new services and schedules for seniors

The Torrent City Council has introduced several updates to services aimed at the elderly population. Following the recent daylight saving time change, weekly dance sessions held across four municipal locations—Centro de Mayores Bellido, l’Espai Sant Gregori, CEA de la calle Caja de Ahorros, and Centro Comercial Las Américas—have transitioned to a winter schedule to better accommodate earlier sunsets.

Additionally, a new cafeteria-restaurant has opened at the Sant Enric Municipal Senior Center. The service, managed by Amada Rodríguez Andreu under a municipal concession, offers breakfasts, lunches, and takeaway options. Senior citizens benefit from preferential pricing, including a full daily menu for 9 euros, while the general public is charged 10.50 euros for the same service.
