Torrent opens Moros y Cristianos traditional clothing exhibition

The Antic Mercat in Torrent has inaugurated an exhibition of Moros y Cristianos attire. The display features the costumes worn by the captains and lieutenants of the Moorish and Christian factions during the 2026 festivities.

Mayor Amparo Folgado presided over the opening, noting that the garments preserve the shared memories of the year's celebrations. The exhibition allows visitors to examine the intricate fabrics, embroidery, and craftsmanship of the pieces up close. The showcase will remain open to the public until October 10.
