Torrent opens new Pump Track in Mas del Jutge

The city of Torrent has officially opened a new Pump Track in the Mas del Jutge area on Calle Perelló. The outdoor facility covers approximately 1,000 square meters and is designed for non-competitive use by children, adolescents, and young people using bicycles, skates, scooters, and rollerblades.

Funding for the project was partially provided by a subsidy from the Ministry of Youth and Childhood following the DANA weather event. The installation features continuous bituminous pavement, public lighting, a drainage system, and signage. The track is designed to allow users to maintain momentum through banked curves and undulations, helping to develop balance and coordination.

The opening event included a cycling skill circuit with ramps, zigzags, and balance zones, supported by instructors who provided equipment such as helmets and bicycles to participants.
