Torrevieja awards 1.5M euro contract for Casa Grande Business Park redevelopment

The Torrevieja City Council has awarded the contract for the first phase of redevelopment at the Casa Grande Business Park to CHM Obras e Infraestructuras, S. A. The project has a budget of 1,543,596 euros, including VAT.

This initial phase covers the sector between Calle Pañol and Avenida Rosa Mazón, including interior streets such as Obenque, Estay, Ballestringe, Ciaboga, Gabia, and Calabrote, as well as a section of Avenida Delfina Viudes. The works are expected to take approximately seven months to complete following the signing of the commencement act.

Developed in collaboration with the business park's board of directors and its members, the project aims to address existing deficiencies in accessibility, road safety, and urban services. Key improvements include the total renovation of sidewalks and roadways to prevent irregular parking on pedestrian paths, the reorganization of traffic and parking spaces to ensure accessibility for people with reduced mobility, and the installation of new vertical and horizontal signaling, speed reducers, and updated public lighting infrastructure.
