Torrevieja health center expansion project enters tender phase

The Health Department has launched a tender for the drafting of the expansion project for the La Mata health center in Torrevieja. The tender has a base budget of 90,446 euros, including VAT, to develop the basic and execution projects.

This project follows a preliminary study commissioned in 2024. The expansion is planned to be built on the existing site of the health center, which was inaugurated in the early 2000s, utilizing a plot of over 5,000 square meters. The intervention is expected to include areas currently used as parking and the flat roof of the main access volume, aiming to increase the number of consultation rooms while maintaining the current functional scheme.
