Torrezno de Soria makes successful debut at Alicante Gastronómica
The Torrezno de Soria brand made a successful debut at the Alicante Gastronómica fair, participating in a high-capacity showcooking event. The demonstration, titled ‘Lo Mejor de los Mejores. El mejor Torrezno de Soria del mundo’, was led by chef Ángel Ortego from Hostal Restaurante La Tablada de Navaleno.
Ortego, a former winner and current runner-up of the Best Torrezno in the World competition, shared technical details regarding the selection of pork belly, the importance of seasoning, and the precise frying temperatures required to achieve a crispy crust and tender interior.
This appearance is part of a strategic promotion effort supported by the Diputación de Soria to expand the product's presence into Mediterranean and Andalusian markets, following a recent appearance at the Auténtica Premium Food fair in Seville.
