Torsten Sträter celebrates 60th birthday after cancer recovery
German comedian Torsten Sträter is celebrating his 60th birthday following a significant health battle. Sträter recently revealed in the WDR talk show ‘Kölner Treff’ that he has successfully overcome cancer after undergoing chemotherapy for a tumor discovered earlier this year.
In addition to his cancer diagnosis, Sträter disclosed that he has also been diagnosed with diabetes. He noted that he has had to make major lifestyle changes, including a strict diet to manage blood sugar levels and a reduction in meat consumption following his treatment.
Despite these challenges, the comedian is returning to the stage. He is set to tour with his new program, ‘Die Zyklopen von Saint-Tropez’, and has expressed a positive outlook on his recovery, though he remains cautious and continues to undergo medical monitoring.
